1. Basic Safety (SB Foundation)
- Protective Toe Cap: Resists 200 J impact and 15,000 N compression. Materials include steel, aluminum, or composite (fiberglass/Kevlar).
- Closed Heel Area: Structurally enclosed heel for impact and lateral protection.
2. Mandatory Additional Features (S3 Exclusive)
- Antistatic (A): Dissipates static electricity to prevent sparks and electric shocks; surface resistance 10-10 Ω.
- Energy Absorption in Heel (E): Heel cushioning absorbs ≥20 J impact to reduce fatigue and injury from falls.
